Landscape in Transformation: Proso Basin
This research analyzes the transforming urban landscape, considering the process of expansion of settlements, within the limits of the headwaters of the Sóter and Pindaré streams, in the Prosa basin, in Campo Grande, MS.
Overview
This research analyzes the urban landscape in transformation, considering the process of expansion and densification of regular and irregular occupations, as well as the activities (uses) carried out in the surroundings (immediate and mediate) and in the limits of the sources of the Sóter and Pindaré streams, in the Prosa basin, in Campo Grande – MS. The phenomenon has been observed, considering the urban dynamics and their interference in biodiversity, in environmental services and in the living conditions of the inhabitants involved. Urbanization provoked changes in the natural and artificial pre-existing conditions of the sites involved that required accommodation.
