Anna Rubbo - LLS Project Director, Center for Sustainable Urban Development, Columbia University.
In August 2025 Local Learning Studio put out a call for built environment projects that localise the SDGs, and address issues of justice on the ground. A partnership between CSUD at Columbia University, the Royal Danish Academy and the Federal University Rio de Janeiro , the LLS is based on the premise that through action and dialogue, educators, student designers, researchers and communities can play a transformative role in achieving the SDGs in their home cities and towns. The talk will discuss the LLS concept and goals, show selected "SDGs in Action" Gallery projects and videos, and invite feedback on the concept and outcomes.
